I tried changing HTTP to HTTPS when logged into the web mail portion and the webpage failed to reload. I was surprised the junky web mail 1&1 has runs HTTPS at all times. Comcast is number 1 largest cable internet provider. So, I am guessing Comcast leaves its millions of users open for this attack. I just checked Yahoo Mail and it does not either. It will also fail if you add a S to HTTP to make it say HTTPS. GMail (Google) I hear has had HTTPS on for a bit. Windows Live! Mail you can add HTTPS and it will work for that session, or you can turn it on in the options. However, turning it on will make some features like Outlook Connector not work. It will warn you on the screen and you can check the list there if you want to know what else. I will add some VPN info. I found a free one, and I was gonna test before posting when I go to school next Friday, but I will add it tonight along with a paid one.
